DINING, SERVERY AND KITCHEN  IMPROVEMENTS


This project gut renovated 10,000 sq ft of existing dining & kitchen facilities in 3 phases while fully maintaining ongoing operations. The project involved kitchen equipment replacement, kitchen exhaust and make-up air systems, HVAC cooling and hydronic in-slab heating in the renovated dining area in addition to a new servery area.

 

The project was completed in 1995 for $1.6 million dollars which would be equivalent to $2.2 million in 2009 dollars.

Mr. Richard Lanzarone provided Construction Management

services which included the following services:   phasing planning, communication plan, bidding and award, schedule development and maintenance, weekly progress meetings, submittal, sample review approval tracking, coordinating multiple contractors & FF& E vendors, monitoring work progress, & compliance with contract documents, applications for payment, monthly cost reports, negotiation and approval of change orders, regulatory approvals, move-in coordination and warranty management.
